Farewell! [See You Soon!]

Okayyyy...I've been absent. But I have a really fabulous excuse...

I'm going to China, Tibet, Nepal, and India!
I leave on June 30 and return August 8. That's not all!

August 15, I'm MOVING! To College Station!

Remember that amazingfabulouswonderful boyfriend I spoke about earlier? He is attending grad school at A&M, and I've decided to quit my full timer and go to school, also! I'm thinking of an International Studies degree. Awesome, right? :]

So, this is the end of the Dallas Daily blog. I'm sad, yes. BUT keep an eye out for a College Station Daily Photo, and a travel blog authored by my boyfriend and me. [I will actually be accompanying him on this trip. He leaves at the end of this month, and I will meet him in Shanghai.]

I wish everyone the best!

Accidental Timing

One of the things I love is accidental perfect timing, like this big cat's mouth wide open :]

This was shot at the Dallas World Aquarium [awesome!] and the next few days will be devoted to some interesting photos taken there.

Hope everyone's having a great day!

Just Another Manic Monday

I wish it was Sundaaaaaayyy....

Yeah....

So. Monday. Work. This is a pretty field by my work place. More than once I've thought to myself "Wow. How nice that there is this green right outside my office door. It's so refreshing! A little field in this urban jungle."

Story short, boss would like to turn it into a parking lot.

This is the sound of my heart breaking.

Looking Up

This is the sign for the Cavanaugh Flight Museum and the fence for Addison Airport. This is for my boyfriend who likes airports.
And planes.
And the sky.
And space.
And spacecrafts, and such.

Which is really great because he's GRADUATING from Texas A&M today with an Aerospace Engineering degree! Woooo!

I'm in College Station for the event. Leave a message at the beep.

Magic Pudding Machine

I. Love. This. Restaurant.

Yes. I says what I says. The Magic Time Machine is AWESOME. All of the staff are dressed up as fictional characters [think Hermione Granger, Sleeping Beauty, Waldo from Where's Waldo?, etc] and serve you as that character. My favorite booth is covered in pink erasers and pencils...it's the nerd in me, but a great one is the Magician's Hat table...freakin cooool!

The salad bar is very tasty and served out of a car in the middle of the verywindyandeasytogetlostin restaurant. When one asks for the bathroom, they're marched around the restaurant while the waiter leading the way informs the whole crowd that someone has to potty.

Yes, you've guessed it - this restaurant is great for children...so of course, I love it. As an adult, you may find the menu overpriced. And by "may" I mean "will most definitely" but it's great for a kid's birthday or special occasion or something. I have found a dish that I particularly love: their Pan Seared Sea Scallops creamed corn and fresh spinach. The scallops are the perfect texture, the creamed corn is sweet, and man...I just love spinach.

For dessert, I suggest their bread pudding WHICH is actually the reason for this post. More than I love The Magic Time Machine I. Love. Bread. Pudding. And they have the best I have ever eaten.

And please - get the salad car.

That is all.

OH NO. NOT ALL!

A Taste of Addison is this weekend. On the Google Calendar! :]
