I heard some baby chirps in the tree, so I'm sure they were protecting their nest. This isn't a spectacular looking bird, but I like the top photo because of the ray of light. Total accident, ha.
I don't know anything about birds, does anyone know what this is?

i don't know what kind of bird that is, but we used to have a family of blue jays living in our front yard in wylie. they were aggressive and would swoop and peck at my dogs, who thought it was a fun game, until they bled! how did kiwi react?

kiwi didn't care at all when i used him as bait for that second shot :P ... which was, of course, was thoroughly disappointing! he usually goes crazy over birds. i think my dog just doesn't like drama, hahaha.
